Summer...Oh Summer, Where Did You Go?

The boys had open house Thursday.  That is when it all sank in that they are now big kids.  We started the routine of getting up, ready and out the door on time this week too.  This Mama had to go back to work.  I'm not ready for the boys to grow up, but I am excited to go back to work.  I have missed my school kiddos and I can't wait to see how much they have grown over the summer, plus meet the ones that are new to our room too.  I still haven't heard back from WKU on my financial aid, I'm starting to get a little nervous and worried.  I only have 2 weeks to get an answer or I have to drop all my classes.  Keeping my fingers crossed that it all comes through, but if not I know it will be okay and I will take these classes in the Spring.

The kids get to go to school, why can't I?

It's official... I am an adult college student!  It's been 10 years since I went to college. The boys are starting kindergarten next week, so it's time. I no longer have an excuse not to go back to school. This will be the adventure of a lifetime, so I'm going to run with it! I am scared, excited, nervous, 1001 feelings rolled into one ball of Mama. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this!!  But, back to the boys... I cannot believe my once 2 pounds 3 ouncer and 1 pound 14 ouncer will be starting  school. Where did time go??
